Your stress level matters a lot. If you are currently experiencing a lot of stress and you’re not doing anything about it, you probably need an intervention ASAP! When you ignore your current situation, it might lead to detrimental effects on your physical and mental health. It’s okay to start small then work on building momentum.

Here are the most common symptoms of stress:

  • Psychological signs are lack of motivation, anxiety, depression, restlessness, irritability or anger.
  • Physiological signs include headaches, chest pain, stomach upset and fatigue.
  • Changes in behaviour such as smoking or drinking too much, social withdrawal, not eating or overeating and angry outbursts.

Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one.“ “• Hans Selye

The truth is that stress doesn’t come from your boss, your kids, your spouse, traffic jams, health challenges, or other circumstances. It comes from your thoughts about these circumstances.“ “• Andrew J. Bernstein

You can beat stress! Just have the right mindset and start regaining control over your mind and body.
