Break out of your comfort zone

“The hardest thing to do is leaving your comfort zone. But you have to let go of the life you’re familiar with and take the risk to live the life you dream about.” – T. Arigo

You might be thinking, “is staying in my comfort zone really such a bad thing?”

The answer is a big YES! It’s too dangerous that it could be something that can potentially destroy one’s future.

“A comfort zone is a place that is very secure and protected, but where nothing is able to flourish.”

Warning signs that you are stuck in your comfort zone:

  • You do not have career goals
  • You don’t like risks and only do what’s safe and easy
  • You’re afraid to experience new things
  • You feel bored with your current situation
  • You have a wishy-washy attitude
  • You always procrastinate
  • You find fault in everything around you
  • You do not like to meet new people

Complacency is the poison that slowly kills your desire to grow and succeed in life. When you are complacent, you do not have the eagerness or willingness to push the boundaries and take risks – absolutely zero urge to do better…

If you feel like you’re being too complacent, acknowledge the warning signs and find out ways to fight and break out of it. Do not allow yourself to be stagnant forever!

It’s okay to take baby steps, as long as you are aware that you need to do something. Accept changes, have the right mindset, commit to your goals and constantly challenge yourself. Click here to read more on how to conquer your fears.
