SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness has an 18-month course duration (self-paced, so you can finish and achieve your qualification in less than 18 months if you manage to do so).

SIS30321+SIS40221 Certificate III + Certificate IV in Fitness dual course has a 30-month course duration (self-paced, so you can finish and achieve your qualification in less than 30 months if you manage to do so).

2. How much does it cost?
Please submit an enquiry and we will contact you to provide competitive pricing and our latest offer. You can purchase by paying the whole amount up-front or take advantage of our interest-free payment plan. We also offer a price match opportunity.
3. What is the difference between a cert 3 and 4?
SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness reflects the role of group and gym fitness instructors. These fitness instructors may plan and deliver group exercise sessions and develop gym-based programs for individuals where the level of personalised instruction and ongoing client monitoring is limited. This qualification provides a pathway to work as a fitness instructor in settings such as fitness facilities, gyms, and leisure and community centres.

SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness reflects the role of personal trainers who develop, instruct and evaluate personalised exercise programs for generally healthy and low-risk clients, to achieve specific fitness goals. This qualification provides a pathway to work as an employed or self-employed personal trainer in settings such as fitness facilities, gyms, leisure and community centres, client workplaces and homes, and outdoor locations.

4. What happens if I need to pause or stop?
Courses cannot be placed on hold, paused or deferred, however, we offer lengthy course durations, so you can take small breaks here and there. We also offer extensions if necessary.
5. What happens if I'm having difficulty understanding a topic or task?
Please reach out to your trainer via email [email protected] (expect a reply the same day or the next day latest).

If you prefer a phone call, please email Trainer with your available days and times, so we can schedule a call with your assessor.

Support is standing by for all students, they just need to reach out, so the Trainer can be made aware and be given the opportunity to provide support and assistance.

6. I'm having difficulty uploading documents?
1) Try compressing the file (reducing the size), as the file may be too large to upload.
2) Clear your caches and cookies in your internet browser settings, as your current settings may be restricting the upload.
3) Try using a different internet browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc).

If it’s still not working, please email [email protected], so administration can help you.

7. Are there any practical assessments I need to complete for this course?
There are practical components embedded within all of the units.

A practical task may be in the form of a video upload, an interaction with a client, client data collection, completion of documents and templates, etc.

8. Do I need a first aid certificate?
First Aid is a requirement for the SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness course.

As we are an online RTO, we don’t offer or provide First Aid courses, so this will need to be completed externally.

Some First Aid providers we can recommend are St Johns, Red Cross, H&A, Australia Wide. You may contact any local First Aid providers in your area to book in, just make sure you are booking in for the correct First Aid course, relevant to your Australian College course.

SIS30321 requires “HLTAID011 Provide First Aid”.

“I’m pleased I chose Australian College to complete this course and I’m looking forward to completing my Certificate IV in Fitness with them too.

The Creatine system was great, Andrew provided detailed responses in a quick response time. Jaye was great, I had plenty of questions for her throughout the course which she always helped me with. I was impressed by how fast a question would be answered.

I liked the practical sessions as these put into practice all the theory I learnt.”

Ben Simmons
“Well established program and friendly staff. Classes were fun and interactive, really got into it.”

Joe
“I really enjoyed the practical components. Working with people for the practical was a good experience.”
