You don't need any previous experience to undertake the course; however, you will need to have a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed.

• no previous experience is required
• a reasonable command of written English
• a basic 35mm film camera (prefered) or a standard digital camera—if you don't own a camera then wait until you have read Tutorial 1 before purchasing one, as this is discussed
• film or memory
• as little as an hour a week to learn
